Intuitive Eating & Rejecting Diet Culture

Thursday, May 28, 2020 - 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Weiland Health Initiative & Well-Being present:

Intuitive Eating & Rejecting Diet Culture

Learn the fundamentals about intuitive eating, explore how to put them it into practice, and ask Stanford dietitians your questions about rejecting diet culture and intuitive eating!

Intuitive eating is a radical  an approach to eating, food, and body image that rejects pervasive diet culture messaging. Intuitive eating is, in a sense, the anti-diet; instead of focusing on losing weight and ignoring our body’s natural signals of hunger and fullness, intuitive eating encourages us to honor our emotions, bodies, and what is best for our own well-being.

Join us at 4:00 pm PST on Thursday, May 28th to learn more and get connected to your body!
